Some people aren’t just regulars — they’re part of the soul of the place.

Today we remember Elvis.
A familiar face at the bar, a steady presence, and a friend to so many of us. His seat was never empty for long, his drink always the same — Coors Light — and the conversations, laughs, and stories shared with him will stay with us forever.

The bar won’t feel quite the same without you, Elvis.
But your memory lives on in the spot you loved, the people who knew you, and every Coors Light raised in your honor.

Next Friday, following his funeral, we will be holding a celebration of life to honor Elvis and the memories we shared with him. All who knew and loved him are welcome

I listened to his stories many times on the patio. His favorite to tell me was about pig hunting. He will be missed.

Oh no, say it ain’t so..

We had just moved to Justin and I was out of town. My husband called me after grabbing dinner at the bar he found (The Mule Barn). He told me all about his 2 hour conversation with a guy named Elvis. It made this new place feel a little like home. Little did Elvis know that their conversation was something my husband would carry with him and still talk about to this day. He will be missed. Rest in peace 🙏💕

Moved to Justin in 02, ran into Elvis at the donut/coffee shop one morning and struck up a conversation with him, loved his stories. He was genuine. Over the next several years, each time I saw him in town, I made a point to stop and talk with him. Always made me feel welcome. Of course ran into him a few times at the Mule Barn and heard his stories over a beer or two. I am sorry to hear he has passed. I’ll miss seeing him and hearing his stories. RIP

Pam and I are so sorry to hear this sad news. Elvis was such a kind man. I remember when I moved to Justin in 2004, Elvis and his conversations made me feel very welcome. The world lost a good man. RIP my friend.

This makes me so sad 🥺 I remember Elvis from when I worked up there years ago, he remembered me and my kids when we would come up for taco Tuesdays even till recently.

I went to school with Elvis and also spoke with him at the Mule Barn many times. so sad to hear this.

Elvis and I were friends when I lived up in the Justin area. He was a great guy and always fun to visit with. I heard of his passing today and it saddened me. RIP my friend. You will be missed.
